Ive been wanting a new muffler for a while now, so today i got a little bored and took an angle grinder to my exhaust... Now i "need" one right? It sounds okay but is a bit too raspy for my liking. I am debating between a super 10 or an original 40 series. I like it loud, love the crackles and pops and want a deeper tone. What do you all think? Open to ideas not set on those specifically. I took a magnaflow off (not sure what one as it came with the truck) I have stock cats and no resos

only do a flow if your a loyal flow person..I did flows for a year and din't like how it sounded under heavy pedal..just didn't sound like a muscular v8....I run no cats or resos and run the biggest magnaflow they make...I want to sound muscular, not loud...whenever I pull up to a flow equipped ram, I just open the dual cutouts and 'outloud' him...

I had a 10 series (just clamped on my my 3" strait) and dominated any "open cutout" truck on the road. If your truck is dropped it's a different story obviously, but at stock height... nope.

maybe most, but not this one :) the key, bein loud some of the time is cool..all the time, NOT. I do like driving around with people and having decent conversations, plus, it's stealthy. I run my dual cutouts after the long tube headers and before the muffler..I run 3" piping (because I can) from the lt's to the dual cutouts..you can't get that much louder from a stroked hemi with a custom cam..
