I have a 2019 ram 1500 gen 5, 5.7 v8 hemi. I have only put on about 500 miles so far, but am loving the new ram. I have always had silverados up til now, but hated the new body style. I do have a couple questions.

1) has anyone had any issues with the electronic shifter? It has happened a couple times where I shift from park to drive, and it acts as though it's in neutral. If you step on the gas, it just revs. I have noticed it's happened twice when the car is running and has been in park for a couple minutes. Any reason why it may be doing this?

2) I need a muffler asap. I've had flowmaster 40's in my younger days, but now with kids, I think it'd be too loud. I'm thinking the magnaflow would be a better option. Any advice on a 14 vs 18. I do want the sound, but don't necessarily want the drone or the inside cabin noise to be overwhelming.

The only time mine does that while in drive or reverse is if my seat belt isn't buckled. I figured that one out real quick. And that's a pain when I'm trying to hook up to our camper because I typically get in an out a couple times before I am lined up perfect to hook up.

My 18 will do it if I spin it to quick. As for muffler i went with a xpipe and muffler delete.

I think you'd really like the Borla touring catback. I've got the s type but it's a little loud. Touring is alot more mellow but it still has a nice bark to it.

I just plug the seat belt in behind me when hooking up my trailer. the shifter does not like me hopping in and out when hooking up with the door open .

I just ordered a short seatbelt extender to do away with the nanny. It also lets me move the truck with the door open.

Not shifting out of park is a known problem.

I have the borla pro xs. Second truck I've had it on. Sounds great at start up and when you get on it. But at cruising speeds there is no drone. Perfect.
