Welcome to the forum!!! Nice truck.

I see that you do tuning on these trucks. What type of gains have been reported with your tunes?

The truck seems to be pretty "dead" performance wise for having nearly 400hp. It is nearly identical in speed to my friends F150 5.0L.

Am I wasting my time doing intake/tune for only a few ponies or is there actually a significant gain? The shift points seem to need work and I was hoping the HEMI would pull a little harder. :(

At any rate, its still a heavy truck and I'm used to very fast vehicles in the past. :favorites13:

I'm 6'1" and fit just fine in the Camaro. My family loved the car -- but my wife hated it. She doesn't like yellow vehicles at all. I also had a Yellow Jacket FJ Cruiser a few years ago and she hated that vehicle too.

The only reason why I got a truck was because we bought a new house with some property and I need the truck bed for clearing debris, grass clippings, junk, and things for the house. PLUS, I've never had a fullsize truck and this is my 30th vehicle (I'm 31) -- so I have a habit of getting bored and changing vehicles.

My major concen with the Camaro is that I didn't want to drive it through the snow and in Minnesota we can get nasty winters. I didn't feel like making two car payments so something had to give and the wife wouldn't let me sell her beloved Odyssey. :rotflmao:

I sat in one and my head was in the headliner! Unless they make seats that lower down some that is how tight a fit it will be.

My car had 8-way power seats. You could damn near be sitting on the floor it was so low. Perhaps you didn't try that? I dunno, I was super comfortable in mine!

Dat Cummins!
What would you suggest? I am looking for black accents to compliment the paint. Any graphics or "add-ons" would be black in choice. The black Mopar nerfbars seem to be around $300-ish. I didn't think that was very expensive for a large hunk of metal.

I have the AMP power steps on mine because its lifted. If is wasn't lifted I would more than likely go with some N-Fab steps.

Welcome aboard!
Agree on the shift points. A tuner with a tranny tune would net you more drivability, making the whole truck more engaging to drive, than trying to chase even more power out of the engine IMO. Bolt-ons by themselves won't net you much power unless you do them all AND have a tuner. Ask me how I know...
