New Ram Street Truck Has 650 HP

Supercharged V8 street truck is a collaboration between Mopar and Fox Factory Vehicles. Looks interesting. Methinks this is a response to the Ford F150 Lobo and/or the supercharged Shelby F150 (friend of mine has one of those, very nice). Anyway, this certainly is a cool truck, looking like it would be well North of $100k by the time you're done kitting it out.

Personally, I'd prefer a Limited or a Longhorn version, 6.4L with or without the supercharger. I want the luxury and all the options, and a decent ride quality. A truck is not a sports car, not matter how stiff you make the suspension.

People will snap these up fast and the number one question that the dealerships will get asked: "Can I get one with a Hellcat engine?"
I wouldn't hold your breath for a single cab version but the Hellcat could happen.

Good looking truck. Good power too. I would be interested to see how it actually performs. Either way it brings competition to the market which is a good thing for the consumers!

This is a take off of what's been available in Australia for several years now.An outfit in Australia has been building these since about 2019 or 2020.

Too little to late, Stellantis giving people what they want, not what the people want. I'll keep my 14 RT and drop a 426 in it.

I 'think' you meant to say "Stellantis giving people what Stellantis wants, not what the people want."
If not, I'm taking back my 'Like'................. :smoke2:

I’d like to have one, but as usual, they price the truck to high. They need a Roadrunner truck. Back in the day, the RR came standard with a 383 and 4 speed, the 440 and Hemi were optional. But the price for the basic RR was affordable, this truck isn’t affordable to most people with a family.

If you want stupid fast cheaper, stripper Coyote F-150 + Ford performance blower = stupid on the relative cheap.

700 hp/590 ft lb

Note the brakes and suspension are still just F-150 stripper brakes and suspension so stupid may be literal if you want to do things that aren't straight lines and require stopping.... :D

There are several, yes. They tend to not hold value very well, though, for whatever reason. Shelby put his name on a lot of relative turds over the years, especially for Dodge. Dodge Omni likely being the...turdiest?

I agree that it's a truck, not a race car. I have no need to drag race in a vehicle not designed to do so. 650 hp sounds a little better to me than my current <400 hp though.
