Fit and finish is really nice, i THINK i can feel an increase in performance, a little bit, but whats really awesome is the 1-1.5 increase in my MPG!

Nothing to worry about on the tuning as long as you follow the instructions. You can give us a shout when you are ready as well, and we can walk you through the install over the phone. Its not too bad.

im not worried about the install. Im worried about damaging my truck, voiding warrenty, and being stuck with a massive repair bill i cant handle.

Id want to do a Hemifever 87 octane tune. As i dont run my truck hard, but i really want to get rid of the laggy throttle and lazy shifts. But i heard the 6speed auto isnt the strongest transmission in the world.

I gotcha. There is nothing to worry about as far as the motor goes. My personal Ram has every bolt on part you can buy, ported heads with a bigger cam, spins up to almost 7000rpms at the track, and has 80k miles on the stock bottom end. If it will hold up to that, then a simple truck with minor bolt ons and an 87 octane tune has absolutely nothing to worry about.

The transmission can be a weak point, but that has more to do with how you drive than the parts you have installed. That same truck mentioned above still has a stock transmission as well without a single problem. Avoid any WOT downshifts from highway speeds, and you shouldnt have anything to worry about. This applies whether you are tuned or not. I have seen quite a few stock trucks blow transmissions as well for the same reason.
