hey guys im get to the group my question is i have 2009 ram sport and am looking to lower the rear of my truck by cutting the stock rear springs i hand put 2 inch drop springs in the rear and now the back sits lower then the front so i was looking to know what i would have to drop the rear one inch with my stock springs info and pics would be a big help thanks

Welcome to the Ram world. Check out the lowered section for information on lowering as many have done it. You can search threads at the top of each section by key words.

Thread will probably be moved by a mod to the proper section soon.

As far as the lowering, did you mean how may you drop the front 1"? If so, you could probably get away with just chopping off 1/4-1/2 of a coil and be just fine. If you're just wanting to put the stock springs back in and just lower them 1" from factory, same basic principle applies

i think id really like to put the stock springs back in the rear and try to cut them to the point that it is 1 inch lower then the stock rear hight this way it will sit level with the front
