Hey guys, new guy here just picked up a 2016 ram 1500 4wd SLT with the 3.6 pentastar was too good of a deal to pass up. I also drive 85 miles a day so The 3.6 also made more sense. Love the truck Im happy to be in a Ram. Has minor rust was in ND its whole life not MN lol
I came from a 2006 chevy 1500 with the 5.3 had 260,000 miles on it before I got rid of it. Frame started to rot out. Anyways looking forward to all the knowledge on this forum. Some plans I have are to get some Bilstein 5100 preloaded struts set to 2.1" and possibly a 1" rear coil spacer. Front and rear stock have a total of 1.75" rake. Also eventually some 295/70r17 or 305/70r17 havn't decided yet.

Welcome, your story is about same as mine. Was a GM guy for loooonnnnnng time. Last truck was 1500 Silverado, and just like you, frame rot set in. I bought my Longhorn 1500 about 18 months ago, and now consider it the best truck I ever owned, haha.
