New Truck with new issues :)

Hey guys, first off let me start off with saying Good afternoon to every one and its nice to meet you guys and i appriciate in advance any help or any advice or whatever it is i seek.

Its always nice to have a place to go for help or advice.

So, bought a used 1996 dodge ram 1500 5.2 V8 2wd
I know i know 2wd what was I thinking lol

I just replaced the water pump after it went out on me (BIG MESS), but got it running again, and sense i bought it I have an issue with a nosie when shifting from Park to reverse.... Now all gears are working just fine, but there is a weird noise i have never heard when i shfit it to reverse.

I have a sound clip of it, but not sure how to put it up on here...
If any one can help me on how to post a sound clip, i will have it up and maybe some one can help me with this issue.

U joints? Mine will do that too when leaving drive to reverse or any gear, and it makes like a metal on metal sound or somthin like that, like someone is banging a pipe on my driveline. I gotta do the ujoints on mine so maybe check yours?

My '07 did that from the day it was brand new. Sounded kinda like a fishing reel being pulled out, but slower and louder. I put about 75,000 miles on it with no issues. There's some other threads about this, so it's pretty common. I think the descriptions of the sound vary, but it's hard to describe sounds.
