New water pump questions

I just replaced my water pump and fan clutch and was wondering what the best way to refill the antifreeze was to insure I got all the air out? Thanks in advance.

4.7 just fill the block best ya can then fill the rad along with the overflow tank. Leave the caps open and just run it for awhile till the thermo opens and burps.

The best way is just like he said. Run the truck until it gets up to temp then turn it off and wait. After a while go back and look in the reserve tank and the level will have dropped. Add more coolant/water mixture and repeat. Keep doing that until the reserve tank doesn't drop anymore.
