What is the best way to test your water pump? I replaced my water pump a little over two years ago. I noticed that the shop I took it too didnt flush the system. Now I believe the pump is bad. Has anyone else experienced this as well?

OEM Water Pumps don't usually go bad before it has been in a vehicle for at least 60,000 miles.
One of the first signs to look for on a water pump that is going bad, is to feel/see a bit of water under the shaft, there is a weep hole, when the engine is cold, ( has been not run for several hours ).
slip your fingers under the water pump shaft & feel for that weep hole.
If your finger comes away WET, the water pump seal is going bad.

IF you just can't wait to feel around with your fingers in that area, disconnect the Negative Post of the Battery & keep your fingers.
