Advoid 4 low unless your off roading, 4 high is ok on the road (snow, ice, heavy rain) but wouldnt keep it in all the time and at high speed. Its good to put the truck in it from time to time to work the tcase and make sure everything is staying lubed.

neighbors front yard?

Hahahahhaha thats the best after they **** ya off. Im a bad example to be honest I race in sand in 4lo. For normal stuff 4 lo is only used for creeping trails.

4lo only for slow speeds. also it has alot of torque, so just be aware of that.

The 4Auto option would be ok to use on dry roads, but probably unnecessary. I like 4Auto on slippery roads after the first rain in awhile just to be sure. All the other information is dead on. Enjoy your new truck!

Good deal, thanks for the info! I will mainly just be using it in bad weather (ice, snow) I am in the medical field and have to go to work at a hospital no matter the weather, so when I traded in my Dak I made sure I got a 4wd! Also hunting and just jacking around.

Welcome!

For going to work you will like the 4wd Auto. With this option, the 4wd only comes on when needed, at first sign of rwd slip. Great for commute where roads are only cleared in spots and then when you turn on to side streets with snow/slush nothing to do but let the truck do its thing.

Where are the Pictures of your Truck? I didn't think you could join without a picture

Enjoy and don't be afraid to ask questions.
