I'm waiting for a call back from the dealership service dept right now.

I'm going on a trip next week and realized I'm 300mi away from an oil change.
Gonna see if I can get the oil changed, radiator flushed, and a 180' thermo put in tomorrow.

Watched a YT vid of it. I could do it myself I guess. But I need other stuff done also so gonna try to get it all knocked out tomorrow.

Whats up guys. Been a minute. Been caught up in work like most of us. All I have got done since the AEM CAI is had exhaust put on. Just a y pipe into dual tips with a Super 10 muffler. Kept stock headers but found out I had two busted bolts on the right side. So new gasket and bolts there. But I am about to order tuner and tb. Gonna go with moes 87mm for the fact I may add headers a bit down the road. depending on how long I can enjoy the tuner and tb mod. question is...... which tuner is best for me. alot of people i see say the superchips. idk much about the tuners. i look up superchips for my truck and its a flashpak tuner? is this the correct one? I am wanting to get the bullydog or is there a better one I should get? would love some input on moes tb also if anyone has suggestions or advice on those. let me know guys. i need you!!!!! LOL :sparta::rocking::signs8:

Anyway. Went with super chips and moes throttle body. havent got throttle body on yet. but the performance in shifting alone with the superchips is bad ass. chirped into second a couple times.

are you 2WD? I would look into what gear ratio you have and maybe go with 4.xx's

I am 2wd. Street truck. No off road. How do I go about finding out my gear ratio. And 4.xx's? Sorry idk all the terminology or brands and stuff. But do apreciate the help.

I think your stock gear ratio will be on a sticker the underside of your hood. And what he meant by 4.xx's is you may want to consider a ratio like 4.11 or 4.56.

As far as cam goes, Crazy Jay Plus may be a tad low end heavy for what you need. I have a 1500 AWD QC and I just put a crazy jay plus at 110 LSA in mine. But I'm modding for torque cuz I'm moving a heavy ass truck with full time AWD.

I see. Thanks.. Also this sounds dumb even typing it but I have had my truck 3.5 years and never changed the plugs and wires. Thats actually what I am going to do this week first. Whats the best to get if im gonna do a full plugs wires and cap replacement. Im slowly learning this ****. Didnt ever realize the technical info or mass of tech info mechanics mess with. Was a get in and drive let the shop deal with it kind of guy. But I loooooooove my truck. And I want to give the best **** to it. Really thankful for everyones help and patience with my Lame ass. I mean lamen lol

When I did mine, I just put the OEM plugs back in. But the argument wages on whether the $10 plugs are any better than the $3 ones. I chose to save my coin. I never changed my wires and there is no cap on HEMI's, each cylinder has it's own coil.

Remember, you need 16 plugs. Do one cylinder at a time so that everything goes back in it's right place. And have an assortment of extensions ready for the dreaded #5 cylinder beside the brake booster. It's not difficult, just drop your socket in the hole, put a 3" extension in the socket and then your ratchet and it'll come out no prob. Just takes time.

And on the pass. side, to make life easy, you can unbolt the EGR tube from the EGR valve to get some play out of it while removing your coils.

You should be able to look at the axel under the truck on the passenger side an there should be a sticker saying you have a 9.25 axel with 3.xx gears an open diff or posi
