What's up? Well, I have a 2012 ram 1500 crew cab 4x4. I have had the truck since new so a little over 2 years and it's currently bone stock except for window tint and a little plasti dip on the aluminum 20's. I been a life long diy guy and mostly built custom cars and trucks for other people and in recent years I have spent a lot more time and energy on my bikes and 4 wheeler. I tend to get bored with my vehicles pretty easily and was on the fence about trading this one in. So instead, my truck doesn't have all the bells and whistles so I opted for giving it a little attention. I have some plans for new wheels and tires and some other light work in the next few months...kind of un-decided. However, this weekend I am installing a ken wood ddx5901hd receiver using the datalink maestro and a back-up camera. I decided to join the forum because a lot of my research online lead me here and I have read some threads that talk about it but no one that I had seen had posted any actual photos or after reviews. Now that I joined, maybe I'll find some info but if not I'll definitely try to post some things when I'm done. I'm really excited about the OBD II capabilities but they are a bonus over the features I actually wanted when I decided on the stereo. Other than that, I know this is ridiculously long, but I'm an army vet with 10 1/2 years. I have been doing customization for about 16 years and most of that is Sheetmetal fabrication I do daily in my job for the last 12 years. Thank you guys for letting me join.
