OK I have a 1986 w100 and am going to rebuild the 318 thats in it. My questions' ? I have an idea of what im going to do but could use some advice on how to go about it.
1.) I am looking to put 360 heads on this engine but am unable to find any without paying an arm and a leg for aftermarket can I reuse the factory 318 heads until I can find a set and go ahead and zero deck the block and use a set of keith black 167 pistons .40 over with the 318 heads.
2.) I am going to use the comp cam xe275hl kit to go with the 360 heads. Can I use this cam with the factory 318 heads until I can get the 360 heads.
3.) until I can get the 360 heads will the 318 two barrel carb and intake work good enough to get me from point a to b until I can finish the build.
Any help would be greatly appreciated on this build and will post pics along the way. future phases of build will be a manual hub conversion,8 in lift,standard body work,rear end change as well as a whole lot of flare to make this truck awesome. thanks for your time and hope to get some help
