Newbie with some questions .

So I have a few questions about my 2018 5.7 hemi. Was looking into adding a tuner and keep coming across parts where it says 5.7 classic. Actually most the parts I come across say they’re for the classic. So my question is is there a difference in the engine? Or if it says it’s for the classic, will it fit my truck ?

"Classic" is the moniker that Ram added to the Gen4 DS body trucks starting with the '19 model year to differentiate them from the Gen5 DT body trucks.For the most part any of the Classics are just extended '18 model year trucks.
To tune anything after a '15 you'll need an unlocked ECM

So can I or can’t I use a tuner that specifically says it’s for a 18 classic ? And the same question goes for performance parts . Will they work on my 18 Laramie 4x4?

They didn't make a Classic in 18,that didn't start until 19.If it fits a 4th gen it also fits a classic,and vise versa

That’s weird because all the performance parts on like Holley. Com say classic , well most of them . If you look up tuners like Diablo some say classic only .

Maybe look up when the Classic's were introduced instead,lol
