I'm new to the site and new to ram trucks.
I currently have a 2007 GMC Sierra, and am looking to change things up. I want a newer truck and have been looking at a particular 2013 Ram.
I'm not one of those brand specific truck guys, (GM, Ford Ram) I appreate all trucks and like them all for different reasons.
I will post this I guess in general disscussion but I wanted some insight,
There is a 2013 ram big horn with heated seats, nav, bluetooth, backup camera, etc.. ( all the things I looking for). It has the connected center consol ( not sure if that is correct terminaligy) Meaning the center consol goes up to the dashboard. It has the dial gear shift, 5.7 hemi 6 speed transmisson quad cab. $31900
Question I thought I read on here if it has the dial gear shift it is an 8 speed transmission.
Question I found another one I like and it has everything excpt the center consol doesnt connect to dashboard. It is a 2014 big horn with 5.7 and an 8 speed trans, for about the same price. so would you go for the eight speed over the six speed, does it make that big of a difference. and why?
