Don't have a Hemi, but most of the regualr posters here say that the Champion copper stockers run the best in the hemi. Sorry don't know the plug number.

I ordered the Champions the other day after our messages. A guy I work with is trying to say NGKs are better. I've never had good luck with them on any domestic vehicle. They work great in my wife's Mini Cooper.

He may be correct depending on what vehicle he is referring to; in this particular instance not so much. NGK has been around a long time (in Japan for most of that time) but Champion has been here the whole time just a little longer. Now all that being said...NGK is OEM for 09+ eagle 5.7's LMAO.

My wife has an 06 Durango with a 4.7L motor in it. I've always done the maintenance on it and always used the stock Champions but 2 times.

I used NGKs 2 years ago - and I kept getting check engine lights for random mis-fires. Replaced them with Champions and never had an issue.

Fast forward to this year, Autozone didn't have the Champions and I said, OK to the NGKs.. knowing I had issues last time.

Guess what came back up?! Check engine light. Random misfires. I had to order them through the web - but replaced them again with Champions.. and no more check engine light.

So weird. But from that, I won't use NGK anymore. Dodge engineered these motors on the heat range of the plugs and I think the NGKS might be a bit hotter.. I don't know..
Not like the old days - can't just replace with any old plug. Need a little research on which heat range you use.

Hi all, I have NGK's, in my 4.7, no engine issues, no CEL over the years I've used NGK's.

I stick with stock champions and no problems either. I’ll stick with what the engineers designed for use.
