No crank need help???

2010 dodge ram 3500 6.7 cummins 4 door dually full dpf cat delete and egr delete throttle delete truck was running great until It didnt start I'm getting a clicking noise coming from a fuse the fuse is for the battery presafe cm2200 truck doesn't crank at all with the key of I jump the starter relay it will crank any help would be great

Sounds like you may not have enough amperage to start the truck and the truck isn't turning over.

When you turn the key, does the dash lights turn off like it's going to crank - but no crank?

I had that same exact issue on my 2014 6.7. Turned out it was a bad battery and had to replace both batteries.

I even tried jumping my truck with my brothers 6.4 diesel so I had both the batteries jumped out so the batteries were both at the 14 mark but still have no crank and even when they were jumped the fues was still clicking any reason why and what does that fuse do ?

You sure it’s not a relay that’s clicking in your fuse box? It may be a relay for something else that blew and is causing a no crank condition? Just throwing out some other prospects is all.

I literally started pulling one fuse at a time and when I pulled out that one that says batt presafe cm2200 the clicking stopped so i put it back in and it started all over again i have a battery light on in my truck service 4wd my trailer brake says CF and I have a red blinking circle on the right side of my dash the blinks too

That sucks, not sure then.

But just to note, I said amperage not volts. A bad battery can read 14.1 volts and that doesn't mean anything. You have to pay attention the the amperage with batteries/Dodge/Rams.

Have you tried giving the starter a knock with the back of a screwdriver or light tap with a hammer. There is still a solenoid on the starter. The click you're hearing is a relay to give power to the starter, but the one on the starter may be sticking or have a loose connection preventing it from kicking in.

Your probably going to need a decent scanner for this one bud. Try that torque app, I’ve read it works pretty well and inexpensive, not sure if it works with diesels though but that’s a nice truck, I wouldn’t mess with it too much without knowing what’s up. Gl.

It’s possible, I would check the obd port wiring and trace it to see if it’s its pinched or frayed somewhere before spending money on a new one.

You’re not getting anything from the scanner? Dose it say no connection to vehicle or no bus?

Idk brother but that’s a nice expensive truck to be messing with it’s electrical system, might want to get a professional diagnostic check done. It’s usually an hours labor they charge.
