Hey guys. For the third time in a year a half my Ram has lost movement with the throttle but not the ability to rev the engine. I was driving to the coast tuesday and when I accelerated to pass I wasn't exactly easy on ole girl and the truck acted like it hit the governer and the rev limiter at the same time. Lost the ability to accelerate but rpm's were still high and sounded like i had hit the rev limiter. Let off and slowly accelerated and it runs fine. It only did it when I accelerated hard. I noticed that my oil temp reading was -- instead of an actual number. Truck sat for a couple hours and hasn't done it since. Like I said earlier though this is the third time since owning the truck that this has happened. I am thinking of trading it in but love the truck and really don't want to. Any ideas?
