I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

Trying to install a Pioneer touch screen.

Using the Scosche wiring harness. Color matched all the wires. Power's on and everything but no sound.

I do have the Alpine system (no sub though). So I read over the instructions again and for systems with a factory amp is says
"Connect the front outputs of the aftermarket radio to the rear inputs of the 22 pin radio connector"

So separated the speakers wires and hooked the front wires directly to the rear. Still no sound. What seems to be the problem?

Scosche instructions.

Thanks

The remote turn on for the amp may not be hooked up?

Start with the blue/white wire and make sure that is hooked up after that I would be suspecting you have a bum harness if everthing is hooked up as the instructions say. Oh another thought have a buddy read through the directions step by step to make double sure that everything is hooked up properly. Two sets of eyes always better than one.

Im pretty sure I did I will have to double check. There was a blue wire coming off the harness I hooked it too.

Another question I have is I noticed there is 3 connectors behind the HU and I am only hooking up to one. The grey one.
I noticed the other 16 pin one what seems to have a lot more wire hooked to and most look like they are for the speakers. Do I just leave that connector alone?

I don't think I had loose connectors when I was finished but I also don't have the alpine unit either.
