Hey guys, Im NEW to the tuck world, I just purchased my truck 2 days ago! I cant wait to begin the modding I had a 2006 Dodge charger I modded about 10K+ into it. But now I got this truck which I am in LOVE with. It is 2WD due to not needing 4X4 (Was a very hard pride issue to put aside)

Well I saw this truck 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 | American Auto Brokers San Antonio, TX (Cant put pictures on Government computer) and I decided thats what I want. I love the look and am trying to figure out what kind of lift it had. I want something similar Im looking at a 4" lift but I cant put a perfect eye to it. I looked for 2 hours throughout all the pages and found a few but more 6" lifts. If anyone has pics of a 4" lift next to stock that'd help. But ANY advice would help THANKS!!!

is your truck a 1500 or 2500?

nevermind, i found out in your other thread. a 4 in lift with 35's will look good. I think a 6" lift will probably come close to that truck though

Thanks for the help! I'm looking at 6" lifts still but I'm a little nervous of it being more than I want.

I was looking at BDS, that seems to be a very popular kit. I was also wondering If I did a 4" lift kit with a level would it still give me a 6"lift look?

Yea I really appreciate the help Im learning ALOT. I like to do my homework before I dive into something. Seeing pics of 6" lifts I like them quite a bit. However, not seeing it in person isnt bring it to me if it going to be too high or not. I don't want anything HUGE but nothing too close to stock height either.

Let me ask this... If i bought an HBS leveling kit plus a lift kit will it add up to height? Also will a lift kit level the truck out also?

I've got a 2012 Ram 1500 and I plan on doing their 6 inch kit on 35s.

Check out performancelifts.com for the kit. Search CST 2wd kit.

^ yep that's the same kit I was looking at. Except I was told the 2 inch coil spacer would work better for the Hemi. (Actually making it a 6 inch lift)

Ok another question I will be ordering the lift kit TODAY but my question is do I NEED to have the wheels and tires to put on with the lift kit or will I be fine with stocks until I get my new wheels and tires?

Where did you order the kit?

Performancelifts.com?
I know they recommended Bilstein HD shocks for the front, and Bilsteins for the read.
