So I'm planning in getting under dash lights, subs with amp, maybe underbody lights and maybe 2 more KC lights. Last night I had my 350 watt power inverter hooked up and it started squealing whenever I turned all the lights on. All I have now is factory headlights, fog lights and 2 KC 6 inch lights. I turned on the headlights, fog lights and then when I turned the KC lights on it started squealing, made me think it wasn't getting enough power. Don't know too much about electricity so if someone could help that would be great!

Either HO alt, or isolator and add a secondary battery for all added accessories.

What do you mean HO alt or isolator?
So you think I should get a secondary full size car battery?

high output alternator, or an isolaror, that goes inline, so it charges primary and a secondary battery

With the modifications you listed, I have a hard time believing you're drawing too much.

a 2nd battery + isolator will help, as long as you drive around enough without all the loads to really charge both batteries.

You can get the factory battery tray for the 2nd battery out of a 2500.

Yeah me neither on the first part. But why would it do that when everything is on but stop once everything is off? Also maybe to help clear things out, my fried unplugged the hot from the adapter and it blew a fuse somehow. And it also squeals at night when the head and fog lights are on when I'm stopped at a light for too long. Anyone have an explanation?

Inverter is probably seeing a voltage drop. One thing you could try is larger wires feeding the inverter. Less voltage drop over the wire. Also make sure all connections are clean and strong.

Do you think it's the wires from the inverter to the cigarette lighter or cigarette lighter to the battery?

If its a cigarette lighter consider a hardwire kit. If there are a few loads on that circuit it could drag the voltage down. Could hook it up to the battery temporary then fire up truck, turn on lights with truck running and see if that helps.

Does your truck have a voltage gauge? If so does ot dip a bit when you rurn everything on?
