Well last week i installed a new water pump in my 07 hemi and had a friend over to help.He just quit his job at a dodge dealership so he knows alot about our Rams .He says hear that ,I'm like what? it's my Alternator it's making noise,he says they are famous for the bearing going in them, although he's never seen one lock up he says I should replace it sooner or later. Now all I hear is that damm Alternator even driving down the road, but I think it's going to have to wait till after Christmas :Jedi:

Had a buddy of mine send me a video of his Gen3 exhaust. I could barely hear the exhaust over the alternator noise. I can hook you up with a coupon code from Advance on an alternator if ya want.

The 160a out of an 04 hemi Durango is a bolt in (if you want to upgrade from 136a, if that's what you have).

I had a bearing going bad in mine too around 16k. Found it when I took it in for a squeaky serpentine belt.
