Has anyone used the ondlink MX+ as a stand alone code reader? Specifically for ABS and airbag codes?

It seems like the OBD link is the preferred reader to use with alpha OBD, for the rams. Problem is, not all of my vehicles are rams.

I’ve used it as a stand alone code reader and got some use out of it but not for body related stuff. Mainly just for the engine and engine diagnostics.

Just trying to avoid buying multiple scanners. I've got ABS lights coming on, on my truck, but we also just got an airbag light on my wife's Nissan Armada. My current el-cheapo corded scanner only reads engine codes.
I've been looking at bluetooth scanners for a few days now, and I think I have it narrowed down to either the OBDLINK MX+, or the Bluedriver.

wandering if the obdlink will show individual speed sensor readouts when looking at the ABS info?

All the time on multiple vehicles. Code reader app that comes with the device works well.

I agree. But have you tried using it for air bags and abs lights?? I have not since I haven’t had any of those issues since I’ve owned mine.

Does it show ABS codes? more specifically, can you see individual wheel speed sensor outputs?
I suspect I have a bad wheel speed sensor on my truck, and I'm looking for a reader that will let me determine which one is bad. The info on the OBDLINK website says it "reads ABS" codes, but all of the reviews/demonstrations I have found online, only talk about the engine code part of it. would just like confirmation that it does in fact show speed sensor info before I purchase.

I did send an inquiry through the obdlink website, we'll see if I hear back.

I know you can reset the abs codes with alfaobd but not sure about seeing individual readings and I’m not sure about the supplied app resetting abs codes

So, I did get a response from someone at OBDLINK, here is their response.

"thank you for reaching out, I am happy to help.
Unfortunately, at this time the OBDLink mobile app included with the MX+ does not support enhanced diagnostics such as
reading wheel speed sensors for Dodge vehicles :(

However! Enhanced support for Dodge is in the works and will be released as a free app update for MX+
users within the next couple months!

In the mean time, AlfaOBD is required for this feature."

By the time I buy the reader, Alfa software, and an android tablet to run it all, it would be cheaper to just buy both front wheel bearings and change them out.
