I am having trouble getting used to the passenger outside mirror on my "new" 2014 RAM. It has the towing mirrors and the passenger side mirror has no "convex" shape, so it does not show more image like I am used to. I know that the small convex mirror helps, but I like having more view on the big mirror. Is there a replacement glass that can be retrofitted to my mirror? Thank you!

Reminds me of the Gary Larson cartoon:

Turn the mirrors up “elephant ears” and adjust accordingly to you the driver. You’ll find that the glass is outstanding and then adjust the small mirrors you’ll see 5X more than with them folded down. Look for the youtube video by HOT DAMN and his green Ram. He explains it perfectly. I believe that will help ya out.

This definitely works, but is inconvenient for tight spaces.

I know this very well but actually only adds about 4” to the total width of the truck. My carport is as tight as a virgin on prom night.

I appreciate the ideas and the entertainment... I prefer not having my mirrors in tow position when not towing.

I guess, then, that these (slightly convex) mirrors are not available... Thank you.

I have not found any as I have similar issues with them.

They work *fine*, but I do prefer to see more than they provide. I also prefer not to be in Cornholio mode everywhere.

I would be interested too. I found a pair of convex glass replacements for the mirrors on my last F150. They were awesome. So much safer in my opinion.
