My 2014 has that odor issue and I keep getting the runaround from the dealer. Started at about 2500 miles, not at 4500. Getting pretty frustrated. Either smells like propane or dead animal. I pity the people stuck behind me in traffic!

Ooooh, you're cooking the occupants of that Prius-clown car you ran over. It's stuck up agaisnt your exhaust manifold.I also have a burning smell from under the truck, but you can only smell it when idling.

Mine is starting to smell like propane/dead rats now as well with 2100 miles on it. I've read its due to the residue of the chemical wash they give the cylinder heads interacting with the coolant and rubber hoses causing the smell. At any rate it's disgusting lol.
I just purchased a 2014 Ram 3.0 Eco Diesel and have about 1000 miles on it and the smell in the cab is horrible. I can't say it is a new car smell, almost a burning type smell. Like burnt paint on the engine block maybe. Any how the smell is giving me a headache , dry mouth and upset stomach. Am taking it in to the dealer tomorrow for some aftermarket work and they said they will look at it for me. Hopefully there is an answer to this problem
