I have a maximum steel metallic big horn and I'm looking at getting a set of OEM projectors. I'm having trouble deciding if I want to go chrome or black. Any one have pictures of their big horn with the OEM Projectors?

That's my buddies truck with chrome (he's pushing a Laramie)

Personally I like the sport with the dark surrounds.

Here's pics of my Big Horn with the chrome projectors. I didn't leave them in because I was a fan of the light output and light pattern.

IMO the chrome ones would match your truck better, with the wheels, grill, bumper etc. I think the black ones work with the Sport trucks because they don't have any chrome. But either way, upgrading to projectors will make the truck look better, so I don't think you can go wrong.

And don't forget LED tail lamps! :)

Agree with the chrome projectors looking better on the big horn. And I also agree with the LED taillights!! I have them too [emoji39]

I did this mod on my bighorn/lonestar? I have the brilliant black pearl and I went with the chrome projectors. I was thinking about the black projectors with chrome accents but i didn't think it would look good since we have the chrome package. I'm really want to see a big horn with the black oem projector upgrade

according to another post im following , a member says the black ones have been discontinued. Mopar has a problem with some (including mine). I have to take mine in for factory defects and allegedly many have had to do the same with the black projectors. You may not have a choice to make if you stick with oem chrome may be your only choice.

I honestly like the look with black.. I have a big horn and just installed (non factory) black housing projector lights, and I like the look

Any pics? I have a work in progress, color matched grille (bright silver), honeycomb black inserts, color matched front emblem, and black tyc projectors.

Maybe by this summer when it warms up I will add these to my bighorn.

You should be able to find the tyc replicas on rock auto under 2013 ram. And if you want tails, I thought there were some in the for sale section.

I just ordered a set of black tyc projectors through rockauto.com. $560 shipped for the pair. They don't have any with the black shrouds yet. I didn't really care, at some point this spring I'll open them up and paint them.

You mean the black projectors with the chrome bumpers?

Can 2014 oem projectors be swapped for 2014 oem quads without any modifications?

If your truck came with projectors from the factory then technically no. No one makes a reverse adapter harness. You'd have to cut up your headlight wiring harness and adapt it to fit the quad connections
