Installed an OEM remote starter in my 2012 1500 but notice sometimes it sounds like it's putting a beating on my starter. It's an EVO Fortin remote starter, sometimes it sounds like it's not firing so it'll keep turning over then start up. When I start it normally there's no hesitation, but with the remote it takes about 4-5 seconds to start which they say is normal. But the times when it doesn't turn over immediately is what concerns me. Doesn't happen every time and all normal on key turn starts but I just want to be sure I'm not causing some unknown damage.
