Hey all, so I fabbed up a new bumper for my truck. I was installing some light when I made a major boo-boo. So I was cutting a hole in my firewall grommet thing. Long story short, I snipped a wire. I don't think I snipped any other wires. I can't believe I did it, and I sure as hell won't ever do it again.
So I put an inline splicer and connected about 4 inches of same-gauge wire. I spliced the other ends together. I had to add some length to navigate in there. and what a pain in the ass it was. So I am like 90% sure I got the connection, but I couldn't really pull the wire out too much to work on it.
The wire in question was right on the top of the wire cluster going from the battery to inside the truck. It was black in color. How can I determine which wire this was? I just don't want to find out that something crucial is amiss. Any electrical gurus know and easy way to tell?
Thanks all.
