fantastic. thank you Sir for clarifying that. the only catch cans i have dealt with (for the evo) have all been sealed. so u just remove the whole thing, and dump it upside down lol.

will be looking at these now, as my throttle body looks GROSS after 100k, and no cleaning

Yep , most folks don't realize the benefits of an OCC until you put some miles on the engine ...80+ K is when you see the difference.

A good read here oilcatchcan.com

If the link doesn't work just Google it .

Good luck Sir !

If you choose the Elite Engineering one then at vehicle type just choose 2006+Dodge 5.7L 4ad96adb4758a5a493274d47306bb3d6.jpg

I just ordered a can from teamrxp.com. I had their 1LE Catch Can on my Camaro SS and I was very happy with it. Their catch can includes a drain and hose attached to the can for easy emptying. Once the can is installed you're done, just drain.

Yeah, probably every third oc, it would be good if it was baffled and you have room for it. But I wasn't impressed by the inline fuel filter either.

I found a different one sold by Tuning Monster that states its baffled and is smaller and alittle nicer looking.

I've got the billet tech from Moe's, I know it was more expensive than some but liked the 1 bolt installation and no added fabrication. The drain would be nice but unscrewing the bowl and dumping is no big deal. The way I see it any catch can is better than no catch can.

Stumbled across this post... the HD trucks have a different set up & a catch can is not needed correct?
