It baffles me why there are not more Moroso catch cans on this forum. It's only about $15 more then the BT and the mounting location is much more convenient and it has a drain valve. Seems to me to be a vastly superior design but highly underutilized. Just my .02

:waytogo: That's why I got the Moroso over the BT.

This is after one week of "spirited" driving at sea level. This next week I am going to keep my foot out of it and see what I get.

I've done some reading into the catch can. I'm kinda on the fence. Part of me thinks that if it was necessary then auto makers would have them installed. I get the idea but there have been plenty of vehicles that go well over 100k without.

The one I used is all metal except the bowl. Very sturdy and has held up well.

Am I reading correct that there is nothing offered for the 3rd gen trucks?

I would love one of these I feel like it would prevent me from having to clean my TB all the time and I wont have such a hard pedal all the time. Seafoam and TB cleaning will only work for so long haha.

Anyone make one for a 3rd gen? I would really like one. For a 2500 Hemi if that matters

You can set up one yourself pretty easy if there's not

Question: Is the 13mm bolt that comes with the BT catch can a standard sized bolt that I could pick up from say a Home Depot/Lowes/Menards type place?

I ask because as I was trying to install mine last night, the bolt wouldn't thread and then slipped away into whatever alternate dimension dropped bolts wind up in. I managed to find the washer, but the bolt is just gone...:suicide:

Apparently you need to be 7 feet tall and have small girl hands in order to install this thing...my booger hooks are just too damn big to fit in without leaving skin and blood behind...

I'm six feet tall and have XL hands! ;) yes, I see no reason a hardware store wouldn't have one. I'd try for stainless if you can. I put some copper anti seize on mine to facilitate removal.

I managed to guess the proper bolt when at HD this morning, but BT mailed me back after I mailed them a question about the bolt, the proper size bolt for those of you who've lost it (or will lose it :D) is "M8x30 Hex bolt", metric.

Though M8x20 or 25 will also work, and not take nearly as long to snug up. I bought a 30, probably should have tried a 20...ah well.

It's in now, some more skin missing, but it's in now. Now to just trim the hoses so it looks better..the hoses are very long :D

Just thought I would put up my thoughts, 850 miles pulling my golf cart to and from the races after install, 1 once of crap. 250 miles of combo driving not pulling anything, 16.5mpg same driving 3000 miles before 13.9.

I'm sure the mpgs will get a bit more close, both oil caught and apparent millage sold me. Can I buy another and double up?
