Hey what's up all. It's been awhile.

Last oil change I did was 3k miles ago and went with synthetic. I'm really leaning on Royal Purple oil and filter. I also heard that I shouldn't just go from one kind of oil and directly into another type. I heard to do half & half before I completely change over. So if you can please give me advice on oils, filters and etc on this, would be much appreciated.

I've heard of alot of guys getting the all to m known lifter tick after switching to synthetic. My first oil change will be coming up and I get it for free by the dealer but it's stock blended oil. I can pay the difference if I want a synthetic just don't want that dang tick.

Literally all modern top shelf oils can be switched back and forth with no issues. Read the synthetic oil thread for opinion on oils, IMO Redline, Motul, Amsoil, Either Penzoil synthetic are all better then Royal Purple since they changed their formula. I only offer my opinion because you asked for an opinion. They took molybdenum out of their oil and it has been proving in my opinion to be very beneficial to hemi engines. Read up moly here. All of the oils I just recommended have Moly, Redline and Motul up to 10 tens the other brands. If you want to try something like Mobil 1 because you can get it cheap at costco, that is also a good choice and it also has moly.

As for filters, I personally love Royal Purple filters, that is what I use.
