Oil consumption

I have a 05 ram with 5.7ltr. I put an aem brute force intake and manga flow exhaust on it when I first bought it, now after 40k miles it uses about a quart every 1500 miles, and a few instances where blue smoke comes out of exhaust on start-ups. I noticed the aem filter letting too much dust through the last time I went to clean it so took off aftermarket intake lots of dirt collected on resonater of throttle body, I re-installed factory intake, and plain fram filter on the last oil change. Any ideas what it may be? It seems to bet running a lil better now, but kinda scared now.

If it has blue smoke it means your leaking oil and its getting burned. Id look around and see if you can see anything. But i bet its internal.

Check your pcv valve. Mine would do this also. I changed the rubber o-rings on it and it has yet to smoke at all.
