Oil filler cap

Why is a oil cap 60 bucks for this engine? Is there a cheaper way or no. And please don’t ask where the old oil cap is

since you said not to.."Where is the old oil cap?" ... curious minds want to know :-D

As for why the oil cap is so pricey, you're getting the filler neck that bolts to the engine also. The early version of the motor you would find the GM logo molded on the parts
