I can vouch for this kit as I just installed it on my 2017 1500. Excellent build quality, precision fit, and mounts at a perfect location to service the filter. Installation was painless. The quality hoses and fittings, properly assembled and installed, don't leak and there's no concern of a blown hose or connection loosening up and leaking as time goes by. IMO it's the best kit available. A bit more money than the other ones out there, but certainly worth it from a peace of mind and the convenience of changing your own oil and filter without mess. Add a Fumoto valve to the oil pan and life is good.

Bought the kit and it came in today. The quality of the billet parts and hoses is amazing. Doesn’t feel like cheap pot metal or cheap hoses. The hoses feel much more industrial than any AN hose. I will be installing the kit this weekend and will definitely write up a post.

Does this kit use the OEM filter?
Yes it does! The adapter plate as well as the remote mount both have the M22x1.5 oil filter thread. This is why I bought this kit so that anyone could mindlessly buy an oil filter for my truck without worrying about a different size.

I did the Amsoil dual filtration w/ bypass filter, and put it along frame rail on pass. side. As a bonus it also lowered the oil temp w/ no change in pressure.

Not true. Length of hose does present more resistance. I know with air tools, the longer the air hose the higher the pressure needed at the source to keep the pressure at desired value at the tool. The drop due to length is less as hose diameter is increased. If it matters that much with air, water flow will be affected too.
That said, adding a few feet of hose won't make a difference in this case. I relocated mine a few years back. I used 5/8 stainless braided hose for mine. I found no difference in pressure during idle or at higher rpms after relocation.
You're comparing air to hydraulics. Two totally different things. In a hydraulic circuit pressure is equal in all directions period.

Well to respond to the comment about drop in pressure due to hose length, I’m a firefighter and a big part of our study is friction loss. Yes, the longer the hose the greater the pressure loss, but that is only in an open system. That is fluid flowing with an open end. The oil system is a closed system, a closed system and that is static pressure. There should be NO drop in pressure. You might need a half of quart more, just guessing. I just want to know the quality of these kits.
Thank you to all

Forgot to update: I purchased this system late spring / early summer and was able to install it a month or so ago during my last oil change.

High quality kit and it fits great. The install was straight forward, but a second set of (smaller) hands is helpful for getting that adapter inplace. We used a lift, but it could easily be done on a set of ramps or jack stands.

Sorry, forgot to take a pictures. :banghead: ..had a few friends over and there was beer involved. :emotions36:

Looking forward to much easier oil changes in the future!

***did not notice any drop in oil pressure since installing, nor did I notice any real capacity increase when filling***

Open or closed you will have pressure drop and for the record this is an open system oil pan to oil pan from open air inside engine
