If you've tuned it with Diablo, just go into the parameters reset, and you should find one listed for idle rpm,and you should be able to up the idle rpm to at least 700 rpm.

Mine isn't custom Diablo - it's the Edge Pulse inline ECM with 8 pre-canned tunes. There aren't any adjustable parameters.

I'm not familiar with the Pulsar so i don't know what all it can do,wonder if they'll get around to updating it to allow a few parameters like the cooling fan and idle rpm to be adjusted with it

A member called champion labs, the rumor is at least jan before our beloved rp filter back. He doesnt post much, I invite him to post more here if he wants. He is considering the M1 m1-210 which appears to be our larger ram filter. Any experience from ram forum with this filter?

Was there an explanation as to why one of if not their best RP filter has not been available for so long? really curious as to what happened not like the others has/had the same supply issue.

If you're going to tune it,go for at least 700 to 750 for your idle rpm
My 11 sport came from factory with a cold idle of 500 rpm. My 16 has a 750 rpm cold start idle from the factory.

But only for maybe a minute before it idles down, lol. I have all 3 of my FCA products set to hot idle at 725 to 750.
When i did the cam on my 14,my old stock cam and lifters went into a young single mom's 2014 Sport that had chewed up the cam on her at 100,000 kilometers,we converted her to using 5W-30 and we upped her idle rpm to 750 rpm, she's since put another 160,000 kilometers on the truck, and my old cam is still going strong in her truck with no issues, and she lets the truck idle alot in the winter time,so it's toasty warm when she plunks her 2 kids into their car seats.

So what’s her hot idle while sitting at a stop light ? Thanks

Looks like 650 rpm to me. But that's just eyeballing the analogue tach dial pointer.

My DT truck cold idle 750, kick down to like 550 once "warmed" up. But these friggin new trucks sooooooo smart, if I have auto heat on, the heat will not work till the engine/radiator gets to preset temps and the heater/defrosters slowly start to spool up. Only option to go to manual and crank it.

Correct.

You may want to consider adding LubeGard to the PUP. 5W-30 PUP does not have adequate Moly additive to my recollection - only PUP 0W-40 does.
Is this the stuff you'd add 1 qt to 6 qts of oil to protect the cam/lifters?

Syn thread for additive talk, but what he posted was a UCL and that is for upper end rattle. It is adding mineral oil to the GAS tank, for true lifter tick you will want an oil or additive in the sump built to address that. There is no harm in trying that UCL in your gas with the proper treatment rate. I used to use it all the time before I went to a PEA UCL that cleans and lubricates, 1/2 PEA and 1/2 UCL.

Is there any point in adding Biotech LG to an oil like Redline? does anyone do that? I think my noises i hear are just loud fuel injectors. Sometimes I get what sounds like a hemi tick for only a second or two on cold start up if i'm parked at a certain angle and it's because oil doesn't immediately go to lifters/cam.

UCL for injector rattle, redline si-1 for ucl plus PEA cleaner, biotech is a moly substitute it will raise moly over 100ppm, read the thread here and look at the reviews on amazon. 50% satisfaction rate against ticking hemis biotech, second only to redline out of what we tested here.
