Hello, new to the forum since I just purchased my 2022 Ram rebel. Unfortunately, it has an oil leak (between engine and trans). Am in need of a good dealer mechanic in the Chicago area (just in case its a rear main seal leak and needs to have the trans dropped to replace the seal). Anyone know of a good dealer mechanic in the Chicago area?

Also, does anyone know if new seals (which seep oil), stop leaking/seeping after breakin?

No, they won't stop leaking after break in. If they leak now, it's only going to get worse over time. New seals should never leak.
