Hey there everyone! First time poster here. I changed my oil about 2,500 miles ago and today I popped the hood and what looked and felt like oil on top of my engine cover.
Any idea of what could be going on here?
‘16 hemi with 30K on the clock. Oil pressure while driving seems to be solid.

OP here. Could it be coming from the timing chain gasket and thus spitting oil all over?

Did you have a messy oil change ? Drip oil all over steering rake? Then drove at speed ,flinging oil upon the engine? Maybe?.

Water pump flinging coolant around would be my guess given the area.

A coworker of mine just had the water pump replaced on his 2015. Not leaking yet but was squealing.

That's quite a bit, seems like you should be able to see that leak.

Following. I discovered the same thing this weekend on my 2015 Ram 1500.

Never figured this out but it never happened again. So who knows. I can't remember if I checked the coolant three years ago but definitely just ran out of coolant a few weeks ago. Probably should have kept a better eye on it. But oh well. Could have easily been oil all over the place from a sloppy oil change that I've done or coolant flinging around. Not sure.
