I am not going to lie i was on the way home it was was i stopped at a stop sign and spun tires around a curve and got about 100 years up the road and the oil pressure drop and it died it locked up i just need to know what would be better to rebuild it or buy a parts truck.

Swap out, swap in to me would be quicker and easier then a rebuild. Rebuild will/might be cheaper, just more time consuming. Pick your battle, price out your options.

Powertrainproducts can ship you a remanufactured long block with a 5 year warranty for about $3k.

Whatever you decide just make sure it is in fact a 2002 engine (if from a Ram) going in or you're going to hate yourself.
