Sitting 150 miles from home with a myriad of oddities. Oil pressure is spiked at 688kpa (99 PSI) CEL etc. Levels good. Runs great still. Wondering if I need to leave it here and find another way home.

Sounds like bad pressure sensor. My guess is your good but proseced at your own risk.

If it was me I would disconnect battery and see if I could limp it home.

The only bad thing I could think of is clogged passage way even the. I don't think it could push that much pressure.

Do you have. Scanner to pull the codes?

Wish I did. I am at the farm which isn't right AT the ******* of the world, but you can see it from here.

Nothing for a hundred miles. I am thinking you're likely right. It's odd that with the engine off it's still reading 592kpa. Pretty sure that's electrical.

I'm willing to bed its a bad sensor, I've replaced a number of them on 2013 and up trucks. It's extremely unlikely that your oil pressure spiked that high.

Drive it and go to the dealer when you can. Your oil pressure is not that high. There is no warning light on.

Drain the oil the run it and see what it reads. If it's more than 0 then you have an electrical problem not a mechanical one... Well, You used to only have an electrical problem. Haha :evillol:

Something tells me that's a bad idea.

High O/P re

Are any of your other gauge readings showing an abnormality? If only the oil gauge showing the high or different reading, no engine noise, and level ok, would not be too concerned with driving it home. Keep your engine rpms as low as possible, then get the system checked when you get home. Really sounds like a pressure sensor or wire connection issue. Good Luck and please keep everyone posted as to what you fine. Other option, having a 2014, suggest calling the closest Ram dealer for advise. It's a warranty issue so ask "their opinion" as weather to drive or tow. They will pick up the tow tab if that's the case.

This right here. That way if it is something more than just a sensor (which I highly doubt), you're covered.

Yup. Sent a message to service manager. He said if the oil is fine and it's not making noise just drive it. If it blows at least I did my due diligence :)

Caught BIL before he left town to come down and he brought his laptop with WiTech and scan tool. P0520 which leads to a TSB for a bad sending unit TSB 18-034-14.

Glad to hear it. I know that'd put my mind at ease. Still needs to get fixed, but knowing that driving it home won't damage it tends to loosen up the ol' sphincter.
