For some reason a lady STOPPED on the freeway last week :flipthebird: and I ended up as the #3 vehicle in a freeway furball.

Managed to "Ram" a Phord F350 so all was not lost.

Truck is repairable but it's gonna take a few weeks. Gonna get some enhancements done while it's in the shop, namely an SRT hood and a sport body colored bumper.

Looks like hell right now. They had to hook a come along to an anchor bolt in the concrete floor of the shop and pull the bumper back so they could cut it off in 4 pieces. :superhack:

I'm hopin' my JJ modified, projector equipped, headlights survived. They weren't crunched but they didn't work, either. The PIAA LED's survived and work fine. The NFAB light bar is toast but that will be replaced. Add a hood, grill, one fender, bumper, tow hooks, AC condenser, foglights (gonna need a new HID kit for those too) and a few other parts and pieces and we should be back on the road.

That sucks. But it seems like your ok and that's the important thing. Second most important thing is now your getting more upgrades! Good thing there doesn't appear to be any major structural issues and that's a great thing... Looking forward to the finished yet optamized final product.

Should get it back early next week. The shop has had a real hard time getting the right grill. Last count, they have ordered and I have rejected four grills. They are running out of choices! :D

The parts guy has obviously spent too much time in a spray booth with no respirator. He tells me it would be, "thousands of dollars to convert the front from stock to what you want." I call BS. He's just lazy and since he is ordering by VIN, has no real incentive to do the parts research.

I'll do it myself...

The SRT hood is painted and on the truck. My JJ/RetroShop headlights did not survive but I placed an order with JJ last week and will get another set, blacked out with a shaved stalk and H1 projectors added. It will be a while but I can run stock units for now, no problem.

So, on it goes until they finally get done. They better hurry...I'm runnin' out of rental days on the Jeep!

All fixed:

JJ is sending me some new headlights with projectors and shrouds, plus an H1 6000K low beam HID kit and a 9006 6000K foglight HID kit so I can finish up.

Thanks, JJ.

Got the new JJ customs installed. Despite never having seen the particular kit I got this time, I finally figured it out. Electrical stuff ain't my forte`. :D
