I'd start with a tuner..then all other mods will just help it!

Not necessarily.. but a catch can is a good mod for these trucks, collects a lot of the junk that would normally go into the engine

IMO a catch can should be mod #1 on these.
Obviously opinions will vary, but I would do the tuner last if you plan to go with a Diablosport with a custom tune; no sense going to that work of maximizing everything then adding another mod or two.
Opinions also vary on the effectiveness of bolt on mods on this platform- ask me how I know...

I would also go with the tuner first. It is going to show the best gains for the dollar. Also, if you chose to get a custom Hemifever tune, the updates are free if you continue to mod the truck after installing the tune.

The catch can is also a necessity IMO...especially with the tuner installed.

Yes, easy as pie. Just undo a hose, connect 2 small hoses and an adapter, then bolt the can in and done

Like Alex said, the catch can only takes about 15-20 minutes to install. Very simple process. The Billet Tech can comes pre-assembled and with a mounting bracket specific to your truck. Just last week I installed 1 in the parking lot for a customer in less than 10 minutes.

A member has 4 new ones he's trying to sell at about $20 less than retail.
Not trying to hurt any vendors, but would like to see him get them off his hands.

Those do not include the Z-bracket though which is a $25 part plus shipping. This means whoever buys it for a truck would have to also buy a Z bracket from BT making it more expensive than buying a new truck specific kit. The classified add didn't list that info, so I just want to make sure someone doesn't go that route and get surprised when it wont mount to their motor.

Yes. The catch can will come with the Ram specific bracket, all hoses, fittings, bolts, and install instructions. Shipping is free, and we have 26 units in stock as of right now.

Well, that would explain why he's been sitting on them for awhile, now wouldn't it?

HAHA. I will take a video of the install on the next one we throw on here so that everyone can see how simple it is. It is going to come with instructions as well, so you wont have any trouble. Worst case scenario, just give us a call or post up here, and we can walk you through it.

I was also curious. He doesn't have a hemi, so the Z bracket would not have fit his truck. I think he was planning to retro-fit 1 of those cans on his 5.9.

Is there a catch can available for the 2014 Hemi yet?

No, mines a 4.7 and i dont have the brackets. You can get them for $20 from BT OR fab your own. You dont need the bracket to install these. I dont know why everyone assumes you do. Save $20 and install it without one. Think about it, if they were needed wouldnt they be included with the can?
