you wont be disappoint I love my 14, easy install, as many said hardest part is removing the original muffler, and use an impact to get the clamps as tight as they go and your golden, I put high temp silicone on the joints before installing as many suggest although it was cold out when I did mine and didn't really get it on evenly but no leaks regardless so its all good

As for install I'll see when I get it....I have a welder which I doubt I'll need. I've also done exhaust before and used a product that's used to seal exhaust connections...kind of like an exhaust putty...works great. Just can't wait!

Random question... what is the stock exhaust diamiter? I see the DOD14, 18, 22, 24 are all 3inch in and 2.5 out.. is that adapting to the stock diamiter or are the pipes that come with the mufflex kit reduced at the tips? I guess its confusing to me why Dodge would make 3inch at the muffler and 2.5 at the tips.. why is it not all one size? or is it? is this just the way the mufflex systems are sold or is any 3inch in to 2.5inch out a standard bolt up size for any muffler?

The mufflex is designed to adapt to the stock piping. They use smaller diameter piping after the muffler since there are 2 pipes instead of 1 at that point. To keep exhaust velocity where they want it you have to use smaller piping.

Im about to order a 14" from moes. On my 2012 its single in dual out. Im confused about the sizes. I tried to measure it. I think it is 3" and 2.25" but it may be 2.5 how do I tell?

Gotcha, makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up! I was looking to get a flowmaster 50 HD as I dont care for the Magnaflow sound, and was wondering if I could bolt up their 3in to dule 2.5in

Dumb newbee question. What is mufflex? Is it just the name of the company who makes bolt on muffler kits? I looked some up and they were magnaflow. So is it magnaflow or mufflex? Confused
