Outside Heated Folding Mirror--- Delamination?

It appears that the passenger side outside mirror is delaminating somehow. There's an irregularly shaped difference in reflectivity that goes from edge to edge along the bottom 1/4 of the mirror surface. This irregularity in appearance can't be wiped off or touched.

Anyone experienced this with these mirrors?

On '14 Bighorn.

The entire glass part can be replaced easily enough.

Thanks! I was curious though how common this may be. I'm probably going to be replacing the motor and spur gear with the Gruven kit once I work up the nerve to do so. Would be an opportune time to replace the mirror glass.

My 2010 did that and glass was replaced .

I had to replace one on my 2013. As "crash68" said it is pretty simple. I just went with the regular mirror, and not the self dimming.

My 2014 Sport passenger side is delaminating. going to order a new glass and replace when i do the motor/gear replacement.
