Outside temp gauge...

I've noticed that recently it is taking a long time for my outside temp gauge to give an accurate temp. It was 91 yesterday and for about 15 min the truck read 68. Then it slowly went up 1 degree at a time until it reached 91. I notcied it again today. Read 78 when it is clearly much hotter. Maybe i am just not educated on how the gauge sensor works.

Definately shouldn't take that long. Mine is accurate after about 1-2 mins.
