I’m in the same p0463 dtc club, mine popped last week on my way to the gym, though I had pumped a fuel tank the day before, 2014 RAM 1500CC with 63k miles.
I called the dealer to find out if this was still covered under the powertrain warranty, they said no, and was going to cost me $1200 to get it fixed, lol, the part is like $120.
I ended up disabling the DTC code in the tune, and I won’t bother with it for a while until I decide what to do, this is not an emission thing, but for sure I wouldn’t pass smog here in the Socialist Republik of Komifornia if that stupid code was showing up in the cluster, plus the brake locking differential system won’t work if there is a code, I value my traction system as I do a lot offroad, I wouldn’t go to far without the BLD even though I have the factory LSD in the back, so far the gauge seems to be working ok, I’m about half tank, and still can drive another 100 miles before I need to refuel, don’t know how inaccurate the needle is yet, but I’ll find out this week.
