I have a 2005 1500 Ram with a 4.7 L I have a code 480 which is a cooling fan circuit 1 and I have no idea where to look for that any help would be appreciated.

I'd start with looking at the cooling fan itself. With the engine OFF see if the fan blade spins smoothly and does not wiggle inside the shroud. If it spins freely and does not wiggle and feel like its loose then run the truck to see if the fan kicks on when the engine comes up to temperature

I did notice a racket coming from the AC compressor could not throw that code do you think

Check the fan relay, my truck will throw that code if I unplug the relay. I would assume it would also pop that code if the relay went bad...
