I have an 2005 5.9 cummins 4x4.About 2 months ago my speedometer stopped working so replaced my speed sensor on top of my rear differential and it’s worked fine since. I started my truck up the other day and check engine light is on,brake light,and abs light with a p0500 code. My speedometers works, fuse 6 and 35 is fine and getting power to both.The truck runs, drives and shifts fine but i don’t want it to lead to anything. What do i need to look at in order to fix this?any help is appreciated

chances are, you have a wiring issue

Vehicle speed sensor harness or connectors is open or shorted
Vehicle speed sensor circuit poor electrical connection
