P302 code

I have a 2017 ram with the 3.6. I have the p302 code with air going into my water system and has lost all compression in the #2 cylinder. I was told I would need a whole engine but didn’t know if it could just be the head with all I read about previous issues.

That is a mis fire code, how can someone say you need a new engine without diagnosing why you threw that code? could be many things. what is this air into water system?
