Thought I would get your opinion on this... I don't really like chrome/silver. I don't have any on my truck and was thinking of painting the Bil's red to match my UCA's and rear shocks. What's your opinion? And PLEASE, no references to the whole "Bro Truck" things... I don't want to hear it. Thanks!!

They would match the UCA's. I just got the tape off them. Finished product:

I'm not a big fan of painted shocks. For some reason they always look cheap and generic to me.

Thanks for your votes... I think I'm going to just leave them alone.

I was really considering it, but doing those rear's was enough of a pain. I might change my mind but for now, I think I'm just going to leave them alone.

You got some time to work on the idea.

Here's something to think about. Bilstein offers a lifetime warranty on these and only requires that you show them the failed shock for replacement. Painting them "may" complicate/void this...

It can be seen at full lock... The rear ones are already done. May as well do the front. But to disassemble everything just to paint.. Nope. I'd wait till I had them off again for some reason.
